Lightly coat the bottom of your crockpot with the flour. It does not need to be fully covered, just a thin layer.
Arrange the chicken drumsticks in a single layer in the crockpot. Fit as many as possible without stacking them directly on top of each other.
Season the drumsticks generously with the seasonings listed. Start with about 1/4 of each seasoning and adjust to your taste.
Pour the chicken broth around the drumsticks (not directly on top), using about 1/4 cup total.
Evenly scatter the sliced white onion over and around the chicken. (This is optional but adds great flavor.)
Place the butter pieces evenly over the chicken and onions.

Once done, serve hot with your favorite sides and enjoy.
